Cost of Services at WISE
WISE is a nonprofit organization that relies on funding from donations, grants, and allocated government funds to support our specific programs.
At WISE, we believe support should be within reach for everyone. That’s why we keep things simple and fair:
- Your initial assessment is Always Free.
These assessments help us identify the unique needs of older adults and caregivers and serve as the starting point for tailored care recommendations
- Following the assessment, any additional services that are recommended—such as, transitional support, or caregiver support—are provided based on available program funding and individual eligibility. We can help determine what services can be covered by another payer such as Medicaid, Medicare, or insurance.
- Some services may come with a small cost.
- We use a cost-sharing model to ensure services remain affordable and accessible, while also extending support to as many community members as possible.
Thanks to grants and community funding, we’re often able to cover most costs. However, in the event funding is not available to cover the full cost of services, we may ask you to contribute just a portion, or we will help connect you with other resources.

Veteran Respite: Many veterans may qualify for VA benefits to help cover the cost of long-term or respite care. At WISE we help eligible individuals access this support —delivering compassionate, experienced care that honors their service and allows them to live safe, happy, independent lives in the comfort of home.
Goal = No one is turned away if support is available.
Companion Care Cost
WISE Companion Care is ready to provide the support you and your loved ones need and provide access to profiles of available companions, answer questions about them and guide you in selecting a companion perfect for you!
What Does Companion Care Cost?
At WISE, companion caregivers set their own hourly rates and schedules. This approach allows caregivers to offer flexible, personalized services that meet the unique needs of each family.
Rates can vary based on the caregiver’s experience, the level of support needed, and the location. You'll be able to view caregiver profiles—including their availability, services offered, and hourly rates—so you can choose the right match for your loved one.
We believe in transparency, choice, and dignity—empowering families and caregivers to build meaningful care relationships on their own terms.
